The Trust has been managing and developing programmes since its foundation in 1997. Our very first project was a university summer school at Oxford, and since then the Trust’s programme work has expanded to involved dozens of universities and partner charities, and to reach thousands of non-privileged students in state schools and colleges up and down the country.
The Trust is proud to have provided funding and support to a wide range of programmes over the years, ranging from pre-school projects to activities aimed at widening access to particular professions. Many of these programmes – such as Children’s University and Into University – have gone on to become successful and sustainable programmes in their own right, reaching many thousands of low and middle income pupils.
