Since 1997 the Trust has funded and developed over 200 programmes, interacting with many thousands of people, and a broad array of institutions. These programmes, despite their breadth of approach, have significant overlap in their rationales, objectives, activities and outcomes – and are unified by the broad aims of the Trust.
The Trust has developed a Common Evaluation Framework in conjunction with the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM) at Durham University.
The Framework incorporates as many of the Trust’s programmes as possible and provides a common set of measures to allow meaningful comparisons to be made between programmes and over time, making sure that that the Trust retains its position as a leading evidence-based organisation.
