Commenting on the relaunch of the Social Mobility Commission, Sir Peter Lampl, founder and chairman of the Sutton Trust and chairman of the Education Endowment Foundation, said:

“The Sutton Trust and the Education Endowment Foundation welcome the relaunch of the Social Mobility Commission. It is important that the body builds on the strong work of the previous Commission to promote social mobility throughout the UK, and it is vital that it retains its independence in order to scrutinise the work of government in this area.”

“We are delighted that the Sutton Trust and the Education Endowment Foundation have been named as social mobility ambassador organisations and we look forward to working together to improve social mobility.”
