James is from Nottinghamshire and took part in a Sutton Trust History Summer School at the University of Nottingham in 2009. He...Jordan Buck completed our Summer School programme at the University of Nottingham back in 2005. Coming from an area where going to university wasn’t a common pathway – Jordan credits the Summer School with being transformational as setting him on the path to university and his future success.
Jordan now works as Co-founder & President of Cadro, the next generation wealth and investment manager for clients of the twenty-first century. He was previously Partner and Head of Private Equity at LGT Wealth, and beforehand worked in Mergers & Acquisitions for Lazard in the US and KPMG Corporate Finance in the UK, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Jordan graduated from The University of Nottingham as a Sutton Trust scholar, where he sits on the Board of its business school, and currently guest lectures at the London Institute of Banking & Finance. He is the Junior Warden of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers. Jordan was recognised as a 2020 Private Asset Manager Top 40 Under 40.
