Jackie Kemp of the Guardian cites our Global Gaps report in a story on the politics surrounding the fall in educational attainment in Scotland.

The Sutton Trust Global Gaps report analysed Pisa figures for the most able 10% in the UK and found that the performance of the most able children in Scotland in science dropped by the equivalent of a year’s education between 2006 and 2015, mostly due to falling scores from better-off pupils. England’s scores for able pupils from both high and low socio-economic backgrounds topped the UK and were among the best in the world.
