A champion of social mobility through education, his leadership and experience will be much valued by the Trust and the members of the group. As the Trust approaches its 20th anniversary in 2017, the new group will play an important role helping shape our future.

“The Sutton Trust, through their programmes, research and policy work, has pushed social mobility to the top of the political agenda, benefiting thousands of young people and shaping the education debate in the process. I’m looking forward to working with the 12 members of the group – their impressive and varied experiences will help make sure the work of the Trust remains as effective and important as ever.”
