Funded Projects

The Trust is now focusing on research and policy work, and will only be funding a select handful of small scale pilot projects. We envisage that most of these projects will be developed through existing contacts and partnerships. Please see our Useful Links section for alternative places to get funding.

Pate's Grammar School School projects

We fund a variety of different projects in schools, including Government sponsored schemes like the specialist schools and Independent State School Partnerships, and individual smaller schemes.

Into University University projects

Our work in this area focuses on access and widening participation, including summer schools, and on encouraging young people to progress to higher education and the professions.

Early years

The Sutton Trust funds projects for 0-3 year olds that combat the wide and growing difference in educational attainment between advantaged and disadvantaged children which can be evident as early as 22 months, and which has a long-term impact on educational success.
