Character Counts

A smartphone app that sends game ideas to parents of young children, to help develop the skills that will prepare children for school, and beyond. The app provides parents with simple, fun games to play with their children, aged two to five, supporting their early development.

National Children’s Bureau

Making it REAL trains practitioners to use the REAL evidence-based approach. Reaching out to parents and families through home visits and group events, they engage parents in their children’s early literacy by building confidence and knowledge to support the early home learning environment.

An outreach project aiming to increase take-up of two year old funded places while simultaneously engaging parents in their children’s learning from the outset using the evidence-based Peep Learning Together Programme.
