Stuck: Britain’s Social Mobility Problem

Our Chief Executive, Dr Lee Elliot Major, returned to the University of Sheffield to take part in their Prestigious Lecture Series, having been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in January.

Lee explored the UK’s inequality in education, lack of diversity in the leading professions and the continued ‘stickiness’ of the top and bottom echelons of society. He said that continued immobility will cause greater divisions. You can download slides from his lecture here.
