Sir Peter Lampl - Chairman
Before establishing the Sutton Trust in 1997, Peter was Chairman of the Sutton Company, a private equity firm with offices in New York, London and Munich. Previously he worked for the Boston Consulting Group and International Paper.

Anna Fellows - Personal Assistant to Sir Peter Lampl
Anna's role includes diary management and general office backup which she combines with her position as personal assistant to Sir Peter.

Laura Barbour - Early Years Projects Manager
Laura was the first Trust Administrator; joining in 1997 and helping to establish the Sutton Trust. Her priority area is currently the Early Years programme. Prior to joining the Sutton Trust she worked at the London based national charity “UK Youth”.

Lee Elliot Major - Research and Policy Director
Lee joined the Trust as its first Director of Research in November 2006. He was previously an education journalist, working for the Guardian and Times Higher Education Supplement.

James Turner - Projects Director
James has been at the Sutton Trust since August 2004. He previously worked for the Civil Service and the Labour Party.

Liz Johnston - Policy and Research Analyst
Liz joined the trust at the start of 2012 having previously worked in local government as a research analyst.
Helen Carey - Office Manager
Helen joined the trust as office manager at the start of 2012. Her role includes the day-to-day management of the office, maintenance of the trust’s website and support to the directors.
Oliver Quick
Oliver works in the projects department of the trust.
